The Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik in Croatia has announced that it will undergo a refresh to elevate its sense of boutique luxury. Located at the threshold of ancient Old Town Dubrovnik and the Adriatic Sea, the property is poised to reemerge with a new Mediterranean-style flair in spring 2019.
Lisbon-based firm Tereza Prego Design Studio will oversee the redesign of the secluded, clifftop retreat. Home to 91 guestrooms and suites, the hotel will strengthen its connection to the surrounding nature, restructuring each of its individually designed spaces as a ship platform floating upon the nearby sea. Transformed to capture the serenity of the Mediterranean setting, the property will reflect the natural colors of the locale through a contemporary and sophisticated lens, with a dash of whimsy as well.
