Artta Concept Studio has completed work on the Hotel Ease Access in the Kwai Chung section of Hong Kong, evoking the qualities of a teahouse within the urban structure. Housed within a transformed commercial volume, the 170-room hotel features a diverse material palette of concrete, wood, and matte to instill balance and tranquility throughout.
Drawing influence from the natural world, the design is accented with planter boxes on all 21 floors to reinforce the outdoors. Wood tones are featured prominently alongside shades of gray and white for neutrality. A combination of carpeting and concrete juxtapose unique patterns that infuse a sense of modernism into the 50,890-square-foot environment.
