The Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown has arrived as the 50th boutique property in the Hotel Indigo portfolio. Located in the heart of the city’s cultural hub, the hotel serves as a fixture in the area’s revitalization efforts.
After sitting vacant for a decade, the 118-room property is located within the historic Brookfield Building, which originally opened as the ticketing office for the Santa Fe Railroad in 1929. The design of the Art Deco-style structure pays homage to its roots with enlarged reproductions of postcards and postmarks on guestroom walls. Different murals adorn each floor of the building as well. The ground floor is home to the signature eatery Dott Boss, which resembles the old Santa Fe ticketing counter. In addition, the property is appointed with 1,100 square feet of meeting space.
