One of the original boutique hotels on Waikiki, Hotel Renew is slated to make its return to Hawaii’s Waikiki Beach this June. The property will unveil its refresh by Honolulu-based design practice the Vanguard Theory, which will emphasize a connection with the local wellness community. The Hotel Renew will also reopen under the management of Hawaiian boutique hotel operator OLS Hotels & Resorts.
The 72-room wellness retreat will be reimagined as a modern apothecary, crafted with a midcentury-style minimalism and a tropical-infused sense of modernism. Holistic amenities will be featured across the hotel, from the menu at the lobby bar to partnerships with a variety of locally based wellness, fitness, and beauty partners.
