The Hoxton, Downtown LA, which is set to open in October, will be the ninth property in Hoxton‘s portfolio and its first in California.
Housed in a 1922-era property that was formerly known as the Los Angeles Railway building, the in-house design team, Ennismore, crafted the interiors with a strong Beaux Arts influence, which can be observed from wall panelings to chevron flooring, and the use of burl timber.
Ennismore collaborated with Soho House on the public spacees, complementing the delicate French influence with Art Deco elements. The bold color palette, geometric patterns, and floral motifs are carefully spread across the spaces to reflect the spirit of Downtown Los Angeles.
The 174 guestrooms feature a fresh color palette, which is punctuated by bolder patterns of the accessories, artwork, and furniture, while rugs and bathroom tiles nod to Mexican culture.
The three F&B spots are crafted in partnership with Sunday Hospitality and include Sibling Rival, an all-day seasonal diner; Pilot, a rooftop restaurant by the pool that is inspired by the Mediterranean culture; and a basement bar that will open early next year.
