Hyatt Carmel Highlands has planned a total renovation inspired by its waterfront location in Carmel, overlooking California’s Big Sur Coast.
To launch next year in honor of the hotel’s centennial anniversary, the project will include the redesign of all 48 guestrooms including 10 suites, the bar and lobby area, as well as the Pacific’s Edge restaurant.
Guestrooms will feature an upscale coastal vibe with new furniture, décor, and color schemes.
While the existing Sunset Lounge will be reconfigured to highlight views of the Pacific coastline, Pacific’s Edge will merge with casual bistro California Market to become one restaurant with refreshed design and a new year-round, 40-seat, 1,200-square-foot outdoor patio. The venue will debut during the second quarter of 2016.
Configured to accommodate private parties of more than 100 guests, the reimagined lobby will offer new furniture and living room-inspired components.
