Owned in a joint venture between affiliates of Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Grupo Hermosillo, Hyatt Place Los Cabos, located in Baja California Sur, Mexico, has reopened following $7.6 million in renovations to repair damage caused by Hurricane Odile last year.
“Hyatt Place Los Cabos was one of the most visual representations of Hurricane Odile’s aftermath,” says Myles McGourty, Hyatt’s senior vice president of Latin America and Caribbean. “This opening is symbolic as it represents the beginning of a new chapter for the Hyatt Place Los Cabos team, which is looking forward to welcoming guests for many years to come.”
Hyatt Place Los Cabos is located on the Sea of Cortez approximately 20 minutes from the Los Cabos International Airport and nearby a Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course and the San Jose del Cabo historic center and art district.
During the 157-room hotel’s reconstruction, the lobby was completely reimagined with a new terrace added. Four oceanview suites are available in addition to standard accommodations.
Additional amenities include more than 1,500 square feet of meeting and function space, a business center, and a gym.
