InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened its second luxury portfolio location in India with the InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort.
Designed by CV Sydney—an offshoot of Singapore-based Kerry Hill Architects—the 105-key resort offers elegant accommodations with a timeless aesthetic and overlooks the Bay of Bengal.
Amenities include an outdoor pool, a fully equipped health club and spa, indoor and outdoor function space, and three F&B options—the Lounge Bar, Tao of Peng Chinese specialty restaurant, and the Melting Pot, which centers on three live kitchens that serve European, South Asian, and Peninsular Indian cuisine.
