New York-based Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) has unveiled the updated Capiz Lounge at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.
Warm and elegant, the Capiz Lounge is reborn with a medley of warm materials like emerald green fireclay tiles, brass details, and oak millwork. Spread across 3,100 square feet, the 105-seat lounge is anchored by a custom wicker bottle display composed of bronze metal mesh and oak, while the oval-shaped bar, which is topped with Caesar stone, is accented with seating upholstered in rich brown leather. Bar tables mirror the brown leather with a distressed wooden appearance beneath Edison bulb pendants suspended in a spiral. Additional lounge seating is wrapped in gray leather.
To further infuse warmth, a feature wall is outfitted with custom wood shelving as well as the same fireclay tiling found at the bar. A gas fireplace and vintage-inspired map of Boston are installed to establish a residential flair.
