Jumeirah Group has confirmed that its latest property, the Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, will debut in the Persian Gulf this November. Designed by DBI Australia, the resort will embrace contemporary, ocean-inspired elegance that complements the oceanfront setting. The resort will also greet visitors with the public exhibition “The Saadiyat Story,” which was designed by Foster + Partners as the United Arab Emirates pavilion for the World Expo 2010.
Seventy suites and eight villas will be included among the resort’s 293 accommodations, all overlooking the sea from a private balcony or garden access room with an extended patio and outdoor space. Calm, neutral tones will characterize each guestroom, with cool interiors to be punctuated with jewel-toned accessories. Suites will be outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, while villas will boast private pools; four will even host their own spa treatment rooms.
The Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort will also house eight F&B spaces, including the all-day dining venue White, the poolside Italian concept Mare Mare, the Levantine-inspired restaurant Zaytoune, the lobby café space Al Majilis, and the pool bar. The Lounge, Sports Lounge, and Shisha Lounge will also open.
Totaling 23,680 square feet, the onsite spa will host 14 treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pools, a sauna, steam room, salt room, and traditional Arabic Rasul room. A Turkish Hammam will anchor the spa as well. The resort’s more-than-6,400 square feet of meeting space will be easily dividable into five separate areas that can accommodate up to 350 guests. Additional amenities will include a 7,530-square-foot fitness center, tennis court, and three outdoor pools.
