The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa has just revealed its multimillion-dollar revamp by HBA. Situated on 450 acres of vibrant desert gardens, the California property promotes guests to engage with the outdoors with various open air activities and amenities, such as five resort pools, two Ted Robinson–designed golf courses, and a tennis club.
All 884 guestrooms, which includes 101 luxury suites, have been refreshed with spacious layouts detailed with hardwood floors, modern furnishings, and abstract, mountain-inspired artworks. Each room features a soothing color palette of grays, browns, blues, and white. (Plus, more than 300 of the hotel’s accommodations now feature freestanding soaking tubs.)
The grand public spaces are punctuated with a midcentury-inspired finishes, statement-making chandeliers, and luxurious materials. The hotel has also debuted the new Sinatra Ballroom, the venue that hosted Frank Sinatra’s final public performance. At 25,000 square feet, the ballroom is the largest indoor venue in the Greater Palm Springs area.
