Hong Kong’s Victoria Dockside design district is set to receive a new luxury hotel residence concept, K11 Artus, courtesy of New World Development. Set upon the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, the property is scheduled to debut in time for summer 2019. Nearly 290 guestrooms will be housed onsite, spread across 14 stories with eclectic details and custom elements.
The structure will be designed by New York-based architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox, while Bangkok-based P Landscape will conceive the surrounding greenery of the property. Locally based architect and designer André Fu and his studio AFSO will oversee the interior design, which will build on the idea of Artus as a gathering place for creatives and intellectuals. Each accommodation will be crafted like that of a contemporary artist’s residence, complemented by bespoke vintage-inspired furnishings, handcrafted details, and whimsical twists.
