Key West has welcomed its newest waterfront hotel property, Havana Cabana, in the city’s Old Town, with a design from Coral Gables, Florida-based design practice EoA.
Anchored by the largest pool in Key West, Havana Cabana channels historic Cuba with a classic 1957 Chevy greeting guests upon arrival. Guestroom configurations include Malecon King, Havana Queen, and Pilar Studio accommodations, which overlook the hotel pool or the gulf from lanais or balconies. Along with tropical décor and furnishings, each guestroom is clad with decorative art pieces inspired by the graffiti work featured in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami. Amenities include the after-hours Mojitos Pool Bar, the Floridita Food Truck, fitness and business centers, a boardroom, and a large courtyard apt for outdoor events.
