Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, part of IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has unveiled details for its newest Manhattan property: Kimpton Era Midtown New York.
Developed in partnership with Extell Development Company, the 33-story ground-up hotel is set to open in March 2026.
A first look at Kimpton Era Midtown New York
Kimpton Era will offer a modern, dynamic experience across its 529 guestrooms and social spaces, brought to life by SLCE Architects and INC Architecture & Design.
Curated with the best of the city in mind, Kimpton Era will serve as a home for both travelers and locals with spaces to host, connect, and engage.
Inside each guestroom, jewel box-like layouts are designed to offer “everything you need and nothing you don’t,” including built-in window seats framing city views.
A dining program by Apicii
An F&B program, operated by Apicii, will anchor the property with four distinctive venues: a street-level Latin restaurant and taqueria, an upscale New York brasserie, an all-day coffee and cocktail lounge, and an Asian izakaya offering 360-degree views of Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall.
