Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants debuted its 50-room, surf-inspired Skyline Collection at the Hotel Palomar San Diego.
Comprising 30 guestrooms, 12 studios, six suites, and two penthouses, the collection is situated on floors 16 through 20 of the hotel and was designed by New York-based Theresa Fatino Design.
Room interiors blend an urban feel with coastal aesthetics, such as California-style fixtures, surfboard-themed headboards, surf art, marine-colored tie-dye fabrics, and sconces referencing motorcycle taillights.
A soft beach-inspired color palette of blue, cream, gray, and brown complements the rooms’ décor. Suspended light fixtures flank guest beds positioned by tall windows overlooking the city.
