Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has introduced its luxury boutique concept to Scotland. Set within an iconic square in Edinburgh, the Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is home to 184 guestrooms and 15 suites spread across seven interconnecting Georgian townhouses. The adaptive reuse project was executed by Kimpton creative director and global senior vice president of design Ave Bradley in collaboration with London-based design firm Goddard Littlefair.
Located in the city’s Georgian New Town section, the new property features a novel new concept known as No. 33—a hotel within a hotel bookable for up to 24 guests. The intimate, residential-inspired environment serves as a solution for large groups, weddings, or special events. No. 33 comprises the Townhouse suite, three signature suites, three junior suites, and six additional bedrooms. A dining room and drawing room also serve as key social areas within No. 33.
Onsite amenities include a spa, fitness center, and the Asian restaurant BABA.
