Orlando, Florida’s Lake Nona community will welcome the forthcoming Lake Nona Resort facility in 2020. Designed by Miami-based architecture firm Arquitectonica, the project is set to break ground beginning next year.
The eight-story complex will be built along the southern shore of Lake Nona, and house 250 custom guestrooms and 80 condominium units. The standard rooms are oversized by approximately 450 square feet to allow for extra space for a variety of needs. Large beds and specialized fitness-minded mattresses will be appointed along with black-out shades and circadian lighting features.
A rooftop lounge will be included among the resort’s 20,000 square feet of meeting space alongside an expansive ballroom and a 120,000-square-foot beach volleyball venue. In addition to its spa and fitness campus, the property will also be a 15-acre, manmade lagoon—one of the country’s largest.
