The Golden Nugget Las Vegas has unveiled an updated look in its Gold Tower. A complete renovation on the guestrooms began August 2014.
Designed by Houston-based Landry’s, the 462 guestrooms received an upgraded look, with all new furnishings in a brown and gold color palette and modern design elements consistent with the upscale Rush Tower.
“We are committed to constantly maintaining the highest standards when it comes to our property,” says Lauren Westerfield, vice president of marketing and advertising at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas. “With these renovations we are ensuring that we are positioned as the most upscale resort in downtown Las Vegas while remaining an affordable option as well.”
Additional highlights include lounge seating, a 42-inch flat screen television, granite nightstands, and modern artwork. Each room contains new energy efficient LED lighting and Energy Star air-conditioning units. To create more space in both the entryway and the bathroom, the swinging bathroom door has been replaced with a sliding door. New granite countertops and tile were added to the bathroom, as well as a new sliding shower door.
