Choice Hotels International and Concord Hospitality have developed the largest Cambria hotel in the U.S. with New York’s 78,000-square-foot Cambria Hotel & Suites Times Square.
Designed by locally based Gene Kaufman Architect—which also conceived the Cambria Hotel & Suites New York–Chelsea location—the 196-room property is the brand’s second location in Manhattan. Public spaces were crafted by locally based McGinley Design.
The 21-story, LEED-certified hotel boasts glass bay windows along its upper floor guestrooms, which afford guests views of both rivers, while second-floor accommodations feature private terraces and outdoor spaces include a rear garden with lounge seating and an area in front with tables and chairs.
Amenities include a 1,000-square-foot restaurant on the first floor with barrel-vaulted ceilings and wood-trimmed, high-back banquette seating; a 500-square-foot bar and lounge, also on the first floor, that features a backlit marble bar; a 700-square-foot fitness center; a business center; and event spaces.
