Beaumarly, founded by Gilbert and Thierry Costes, are set to debut L’Aventure this February in Paris’ 16th arrondissement. The multifaceted destination combines a restaurant, nightclub, and five-star hotel.
L’Aventure’s Art Deco flair
The interiors of the restaurant and club were conceived by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS), drawing conceptual inspiration from Victor Hugo’s poem “The Legend of the Ages.” The concept explores themes of transformation, ascent, and rebirth—ideas that are closely tied to the legacy of Parisian nightlife.
A modern interpretation of Art Deco, the spaces blend historic and contemporary architectural references with a saturated color palette of amber, mineral green, deep blue, and gold.
Across the public areas, embroidered velvets, bespoke tapestries, and sculptural lighting are set against polished marbles and textured wall finishes. Round marble and dark wood tables anchor dining zones, with chandeliers and custom lighting setting a theatrical ambiance.
Many of the spaces are oriented to capture views along Avenue Victor Hugo, ensuring guests feel connected to the location.
Nighttime transformation
At night, the club takes on a more immersive identity. Crafted as an intimate, high-impact environment, the space features monumental mosaics inspired by mythological figures, heavy velvet curtains that reveal DJs and performers, and a digital scenography designed to evolve throughout the evening. Warm, low lighting creates an intimate, enveloping atmosphere as well.
Hotel L’Aventure
The project also expands with the opening of Hotel L’Aventure. The 15-room boutique hotel is designed by Vincent Darré, whose approach brings a surreal, highly expressive lens to Parisian hospitality.
Conceived as a dreamlike private house, the hotel features bold spatial compositions, deep colors, and unexpected objects. Plus, each room is imagined as a distinct universe.
