Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced that Le Méridien will open in Rome, marking the brand’s re-entry into Italy. Guests will experience signature amenities of the Parisian-born brand include Le Méridien Hub, an innovative hotel lobby. The Latitude bar will serve coffee and light bites during the day, and aperitifs at night. Other amenities include a rooftop terrace, an all-day dining restaurant, a breakfast room and bar, and a fitness center.
“Italy continues to be a key market for Starwood and a much sought-after destination,” said Karl Bieberach, Starwood’s vice president of development for Europe. “Our Le Méridien brand is an attractive conversion choice for owners and developers, and the brand is a perfect fit for one of the most inspiring and captivating cities in the world.”
