Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has expanded its Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts portfolio in Western India with the recent opening of Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa.
The 122-room hotel—owned by BramhaCorp—was collaboratively designed by KTGY Interassociates and P49 Deesign and Associates. Located a few hours from both Mumbai and Pune, it is the ninth Le Méridien property in India.
With a Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic, the property prominently features both arches and floor-to-ceiling windows, a warm color palette, stone elements, and mosaic details.
A traditional lobby is reinterpreted as the brand’s signature Le Méridien Hub concept, which provides a communal gathering space for socializing and casual meetings.
Each guestroom boasts a scenic, private balcony, along with artful, tree-inspired headboards and glass decals.
F&B outlets include all-day dining restaurant Latest Recipe; Chingari, featuring Northern Indian cuisine; the poolside Plunge Bar; and Longitude 73, which transforms from a coffee house by day to a social gathering space in the evening.
Additional amenities include a spa with eight treatment rooms, a fitness center, a lagoon-style pool, a rooftop infinity pool, and approximately 2,700 square feet of meeting and event space that includes a ballroom, four meeting rooms, and a business center.
