Loews Hotels has announced the groundbreaking of Live! by Loews – St. Louis. The forthcoming $65 million project from HKS Architects is slated to debut in early 2020 as part of the second phase of the mixed-use development Ballpark Village.
Comprising 219 guestrooms and 19 suites, guests will be welcomed to the hotel by a six-story mural on the façade that depicts the footprints of Busch Memorial Stadium as well as the current Busch Stadium (home to the St. Louis Cardinals). Locally inspired artwork, fabrics, and textures will also punctuate the interior. The Great Room, a sophisticated indoor-outdoor lounge, will be located on the first floor of the hotel, as will an open display kitchen and wine bar. The Bourbon Bar will serve as an additional, convivial meeting place, while the upscale Terrace Bar on the second floor will host extensive indoor-outdoor seating as well as firepits and a large media wall.
The hotel will also feature 17,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, including the Grand Ballroom, whose glass doors open to an exclusive event lawn.
