Marriott Hotel Park Lane in London’s Mayfair neighborhood is set to complete an extensive renovation in June 2015. The transformation will follow the January opening of Lanes of London restaurant at the hotel.
Housed within a Grade II listed property, London Marriott Hotel Park Lane will epitomize Mayfair elegance. London-based RPW Design is responsible for the plans that extend to all 152 guestrooms, the introduction of five new suites, and a redesign of the lobby, executive lounge, and meeting rooms.
The new room layout will include entrance lobbies and a palette of white, dove gray, and lavender. Materials such as leather, silk, solid wood, and book-matched marble will be used throughout. A collection of British artwork features throughout the property and Royal Warrant holder suppliers include Edward Goodyear handpicked wild flowers and Floris bathroom amenities.
“Our designs aim to bring out the English heritage of the Francis Verity-designed historic building, extending its intimate feel and residential character into the hotel’s interior,” says Jan Wilson, RPW’s managing director. “Elegantly designed rooms and public spaces will have all the facilities expected in a leading luxury hotel.”
