London-based designs studio Goddard Littlefair has completed work on the redesign of the presidential suite at the Lowry Hotel in Salford, England. The revamped space is now the largest in Manchester at a total of 2,228 square feet.
Illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows, the newly reconfigured suite boasts an enlarged dressing room and a new, bespoke marble bathroom that includes a double steam shower and a freestanding bathtub. A fully equipped kitchen, walk-in dressing room, and a lounge and dining room for up to eight guests is also featured. In addition to a second bedroom and adjoining bathroom, a simple color palette of bronze, burnt orange, off-white, and blue-gray evokes a residential-inspired ambiance.
“The bedrooms and bathrooms feature timber-slatted walls, which mirror on the opposite wall, while the bathroom also has feature walls in luxurious richly veined marble” Goddard Littlefair says in a statement. “The main bedroom features a bespoke, contemporary version of a four-poster bed in a room where the colors become softer, more muted, and restful. The stunning dressing room, with a large, anthracite velvet ottoman at its center, is dominated by a tiered feature light, made of threads and inspired by Manchester’s cotton production history.”
