Mama Shelter has announced that it will launch its eighth international outpost in Dubai’s downtown Business Bay district. Slated to open in 2020, the property will feature designs from Parisian firm Franklin Azzi Architecture, including a pure glass coat that covers a wooden skin created by each guestroom’s shutters.
Mama Shelter Dubai will accommodate 201 diverse guestrooms and 80 one- and two-bedroom residences crafted by Paris-based interior designer Thierry Gaugain. Guestrooms will be equipped with new technology, king beds, and nearly 3,230 square feet for collaboration. Amenities will also include an all-day eatery, café, lobby and rooftop bars, volleyball and basketball courts, and a swimming pool. Nearby landmarks such as Downtown Dubai, the Dubai Mall, and the Burj Khalifa will also serve as major draws for guests.
