With architecture by Pascal Desprez and design by Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier of Paris-based Gilles & Boissier, the Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech is the company’s first location in Morocco.
The development is located on an approximately 50-acre site of landscaped gardens overlooking the Atlas Mountains.
Guests may choose from 54 Berber- and Moorish-inspired private villas with walled gardens, pools, hot tubs, and sunbathing areas; seven also feature rooftop plunge pools. Interiors are crafted from natural and locally sourced materials.
Amenities include a variety of F&B offerings, such as the Mes’Lalla, a contemporary Moroccan restaurant; Le Salon Berbère, which offers pool and mountain views; and the Pool Garden, a poolside option that serves healthy fare.
The onsite Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech features expansive spa suites with private terraces and gardens, two hammams, an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, a yoga studio, and beauty salons.
Additional amenities include direct access to the Golf Royal and Golf Al Maaden courses, and the nearby Amelkis course.
