Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has opened the Mandarin Oriental, Milan hotel on the city’s prestigious Via Andegari thoroughfare.
Designed by Italian multidisciplinary practice Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors, the property is close to the landmark La Scala opera house, the Duomo, and a 20-minute drive from the Milan Linate International Airport.
With 73 rooms and 31 suites, the intimate 5-Star hotel is housed within four restored 18th century buildings, with an open courtyard between them that is central to the guest experience. Accommodations will feature an oriental-inspired aesthetic, in reference to the brand’s background and identity, and a contemporary atmosphere that contrasts with the historic structures.
Guests may access the onsite Spa at Mandarin Oriental, which includes private treatment rooms, a salon, an indoor swimming pool, and a fitness center; the Seta restaurant and Mandarin Bar; and a 100-seat ballroom with two additional meeting rooms.
