Two new properties have joined the international portfolio of Mandarin Oriental: the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing and the Mandarin Oriental Doha.
Located across the upper floors of the city’s lifestyle complex WF Central, the HBA-designed Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing houses 73 of the largest guestrooms and suites in the Chinese capital. The contemporary, residential-style accommodations reflect traditional Chinese details alongside an array of luxury amenities and expansive, spa-like bathrooms. F&B options include the relaxed pan-Asian venue Café Zi, the sophisticated MO Bar, and the Mandarin Bar and Grill. A comprehensive fitness center and indoor lap pool also serve as key hallmarks of the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing.
The stylish urban Mandarin Oriental Doha sits at the heart of the mixed-use hub Msheireb Downtown Doha. London-based David Collins Studio conceived a design that is defined by spacious accommodations that blend contemporary elements with notes of Qatari design traditions. Among the nine onsite bars and restaurants are Mosaic, a Mandarin Lounge, IZU, Baraha Lounge, Gelato, and Ambar. A cake shop and rooftop alfresco lounge will debut later this year. Six treatment rooms span the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Doha including two VIP suites and a couple’s suite. A fitness center and two rooftop pools are also housed onsite.
