Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como has opened on shoreline of the village of Blevio, Italy. Milan-based designer Eric Egan spearheaded the transformation of the 19th-century Villa Roccabruna at the heart of the resort, as well as the onsite accommodations and public areas.
The design embraces its romantic backdrop with a landscape design from Patrizia Pozzi that references the Neoclassical elements of the original villa and gardens. In addition to 21 guestrooms, 52 suites, and two private standalone villas, a swimming pool and spacious sundeck are featured along with F&B options overseen by chef Vincenzo Guarino. The CO.MO Bar & Bistrot overlooks the lake from a spacious terrace and the contemporary fine dining concept LËœARIA is nestled within the lakefront building at the heart of the gardens.
Rounding out the onsite amenties is the expansive spa facility, which comprises four private spa suites, a beauty studio, and a fitness center.
