Mandarin Oriental has revealed plans to assume management of a rebranded hotel on the peaceful Lake Lucerne in Luzern, Switzerland. Following phases of comprehensive renovations, which are already underway, the former Hotel Palace Luzern is slated to make its comeback as the opulent Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern by the end of 2020.
The multimillion-dollar updates will reimagine the property’s existing guestrooms and suites, as well as public spaces. In addition to 146 accommodations, the transformed property will be home to a restaurant-lounge that will function as its key social hub. A spa and fitness center will also be featured, set against a backdrop of lake and mountain views.
