Marriott International is set to plant its first flag in Belize with the launch of the Alaia Belize in December 2020. An entry into the Autograph Collection, the forthcoming waterfront resort and residences will be spread across more than 20 acres and comprise 155 units.
Brazilian designer Debora Aguiar has been tapped to oversee the design of the property including its two- and three-bedroom residences. In addition to more than 1,000 square feet of beachfront, onsite amenities will include a beach club, full-service spa, fitness center, art gallery, wine club, and a range of dining options. Alaia Belize will also boast the first suspended rooftop pool and lounge in the South American nation.
