Marriott International has partnered with Carpenter & Company and American hotelier Ian Schrager to launch its first hotel in Iceland, the Reykjavik EDITION.
Under the management of Marriott International, the 250-room, luxury-lifestyle property will open in 2018 on the downtown harbor near the Harpa concert and conference hall.
The Reykjavik EDITION will join the recently opened New York location and additional properties in London, Miami, and Istanbul.
Further EDITION sites slated to open next year include Abu Dhabi; Sanya, China; and Bangkok. Future openings are scheduled for Times Square, New York and West Hollywood in 2018; Wuhan, China in 2019; and Bali in 2019.
