Marriott International has unveiled the $30 million overhaul of the Renaissance St. Louis Grand.
Previously known as the Statler Hotel, the property has been rebranded to bear the company’s flagship Marriott brand name and is located nearby the America’s Center convention center, Edward Jones Dome, Busch Stadium, and the Gateway Arch.
Renovations, which began in November 2014, were made to the lobby, guestrooms, and concierge lounge. Additional changes include a new greatroom, technology upgrades, the new Zenia Bar & Grille, the new 8th Street Pantry, three additional meeting spaces, and an upgraded fitness center.
Completed in 1917, the Statler Hotel’s original Crystal and Statler ballrooms have been retained and will provide space for scalable meeting rooms and events.
Zenia Bar & Grille was opened with contemporary furnishings and two electrical and USB ports at every table.
Other amenities include 65,000 square feet of meeting space amongst 36 meeting rooms.
