Marriott International has debuted in Taiwan with the opening of Taipei Marriott Hotel.
An integrated destination complex, the 5-Star hotel is located in Taipei’s Dazhi area—a new commercial hub—which is nearby Taipei Songshan Airport, the National Palace Museum, and Neihu Technology Park.
Accommodations include 320 guestrooms that range in size from 430 to 860 square feet, with a Presidential suite measuring approximately 2,370 square feet. Their contemporary interiors feature floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious work areas, window-side chaise lounges, and a neutral color palette of ivory, cream, and gray. Luxury apartments are also available.
Public spaces are planted with indigenous greenery that is punctuated with various art pieces and sitting areas.
Guests may choose from five restaurants, such as the lobby lounge; the Garden Kitchen; Mark’s Teppanyaki, which features live cooking stations; the Marriott signature Dining Place Chinese restaurant; and INGE’s bar and grill with an open-air terrace lounge.
Additional amenities include a divisible 32,300-square-foot convention center; the 13,600-square-foot Grand Ballroom—the city’s largest; a high-end shopping mall; a chapel; and a rooftop garden. A health club on the 19th floor also includes a pool, fitness center, and spa.
