Marriott International will kick off 2021 with the launch of a new U.S. property in Dallas in late January. Located at the intersection of Fairmount and Carlisle Streets, the Marriott Dallas Uptown will evoke a chic modernity courtesy of WDG Architecture.
Crisp and dynamic, the 14-story hotel will welcome guests with a ground floor activated by a restaurant, all-day café and lounge, fitness center, and pooldeck set against a panoramic backdrop. The reception will be punctuated by an art installation composed of reclaimed wood—reinforcing the influence of the area’s local landscapes and terrain. Lobby lighting, laid in a track configuration, will also pay homage to the nearby K-T route of the Union Pacific Railroad. An additional 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space will round out the onsite amenities.
The Marriott Dallas Uptown’s 255 guestrooms and suites will convey a soothing minimalist and highly functional design scheme. Traditional details reinterpreted through a modern lens with contemporary materials and technology will be featured throughout, including energy-conserving lighting and efficient temperature control systems.
