GOCO Hospitality has plans to launch its GOCO Spa brand in Europe with the opening of GOCO Spa Venice at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa in spring 2015. Designed in collaboration with Italian architecture firm Matteo Thun & Partners, the spa will be the largest in the city.
Located on a private island, the more than $9 million spa project enjoys views of St Mark’s Square and La Serenissima. The hotel buildings and spa have been sensitively refurbished by Matteo Thun & Partners to incorporate sustainable, modern, and elegant design within a historic building.
GOCO Spa will operate in selected luxury hotels globally. GOCO Spa Venice features eight treatment rooms, a spa suite, an indoor-outdoor aquatonic pool, a traditional hamam, advanced beauty rooms, outdoor yoga/meditation gardens, outdoor express treatment pavilions, and a tea lounge.
Hot loungers and outdoor relaxation areas will be available around the pool with uninterrupted views over the Venetian lagoon. In addition to the aquatonic pool, the wet area will feature sensorial and experiential showers, a bio sauna with salt wall, a hamam with scrub room, and a classical sauna.
