Millennium Hotels and Resorts is set to launch its first Turkish property, the Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn Hotel, later this month. Named after the nearby inlet of the iconic Bosphorus, the 5-Star property will debut within the garden of the Palace of Blachernae in the heart of the city’s historic center.
Designed by locally based practice Metex Design, the hotel will open at the threshold of numerous city attractions including the colorful, Ottoman-style neighborhood of Balat. In addition to 127 chic guestrooms and suites, a fitness center as well as a luxury spa and expansive business center will open along with meeting rooms and a 4,350-square-foot ballroom. Onsite dining will include the buffet concept Keros, while a signature steakhouse will overlook natural views. Tekfur and the Kathisma private dining room will round out the property’s F&B options.
