New York-based Meyer Davis Studio has completed phase one of a two-part guestroom renovation at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, located in the city’s Midtown area.
The 244 rooms, including 18 suites, feature an updated aesthetic with timeless flourishes.
“The guestroom design for Four Seasons is a redefinition of the [brand’s] classic sensibility that guests have come to love,” says Gray Davis, principal of Meyer Davis. Polished chrome finishes, gray washed wood, nubby upholstery, and velvet textiles create “light, lush, and comfortable [rooms],” he adds.
Guestrooms boast patterned upholstered headboards, curvaceous furnishings, colorful and quirky art, bold carpeting with a classic motif, dark gray molding, newly imagined bathrooms, and contemporary works by locally based artist Caroline Bullock.
Light and airy Midtown Deluxe rooms overlook the city’s Midtown, Buckhead, or Downtown areas from the 14th through 19th floors, while Midtown Premier guestrooms provide panoramic views of Midtown Atlanta. Highlighted by a palette of charcoal with bold accent colors, these residentially inspired accommodations offer window banquette seating, a curated art collection, and walk-in marble showers.
Similar in style, Midtown suites will juxtapose gray furnishings with pops of color, as well as feature a curated art collection, wall-to-wall windows, and dining areas with group seating.
Phase two is scheduled to begin in the next few months.
