Hospitality company Belmond, in partnership with Cora Pacific Development, has announced the development of Milaroca, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Nayarit in Mexico.
The design—led by Waldo’s Designs and Clements Design in collaboration with entrepreneur Rosetta Getty—takes center stage in this project, reflecting a conscious approach to luxury. Drawing inspiration from Riviera Nayarit’s beauty, culture, and the bohemian spirit of nearby villages, the aesthetic of Milaroca will be crafted to resonate with the local surroundings.
Milaroca’s construction will be rooted in low-density and non-invasive building practices. Each of the 57 guest pavilions will feature contemporary custom furniture and objects crafted by local artists and artisans. Attention to detail will extend throughout the property’s interiors, maintaining an intuitive connection with outdoor spaces and the nearby jungle.
The 105-acre estate will be immersed in the lush mountainous jungle, alongside a mile-long stretch of pristine beach. Onsite amenities include six dining options, a wellness center, four outdoor swimming pools, and a multi-brand retail space.
Milaroca will also include 27 private villas, available by invitation only. These accommodations will align with the sensibilities of Milaroca, emphasizing warmth, intimacy, and personalization.
The property is expected to open in 2025.
