Minor Hotels has announced the launch of its first Middle Eastern property with the acquisition of the 216-room Mövenpick Hotel Deira in Dubai. Beginning in July, the property will be rebranded under Minor’s AVANI brand as the AVANI Deira Dubai Hotel. AVANI was first introduced in 2011 as a complement to Minor’s 5-Star Anantara brand.
Housed within the property are multiple versatile meeting rooms, a fitness center, salon, lounge, and two restaurants. The hotel is located less than three miles from the Dubai International Airport as well as the Gold and Spice Souks.
Minor currently oversees an international portfolio of 146 hotels across 22 countries.
