The Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa has announced it will unveil the Retreat this February. Designed by Los Angeles-based practice SFA Design, the 22 private suites will be installed on the westernmost stretch of the property.
Ranging from 600 to 3,120 square feet, the Retreat will span four configurations—one-bedroom Reflection rooms, two-bedroom Unity rooms, three-bedroom Gratitude rooms, and Solace studio suites. In addition to wellness amenities, each suite will feature freestanding soaking tubs, indoor-outdoor showers, and private patios complete with a hot tub and firepit.
Gourmet kitchens and dining rooms for up to eight guests will be included in Reflection, Unity, and Gratitude suites, along with private pools and lounge areas. The organic and sophisticated design will reflect the Sonoran Desert with an earthy color palette that complements the desert backdrop. Textured fabrics, wooden floors, and custom furniture will balance each space, while murals of sand mandalas will adorn dining room walls as a nod to Native American heritage.
