Montage Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will add a new property in California’s wine country to its lineup. Spread across nearly 260 acres, the Montage Healdsburg in California is slated to debut in spring 2020, with construction kicking off later this year.
With an emphasis on sustainability, design efforts will be led by Burlingame, California-based firm GlazierLe, San Diego-based Delawie Architects, and global firm EDG. A contemporary wine country aesthetic will permeate the resort, which will boast a palette of dark woods and earth tones to complement its surroundings. To further immerse guests in the setting, the property will feature amenities, such as open-air massages at the Spa Montage and an infinity pool overlooking the resort’s vineyards. A gourmet dining concept will offer treehouse-inspired private dining, while an outdoor bar and grill embraces the natural backdrop.
In addition to 130 bungalow-style accommodations, the Montage Healdsburg is expected to host a collection of Montage Residences in the future.
