Located in the central L’Hivernage district of Marrakech, the Mövenpick Mansour Eddahbi Hotel has emerged from its six-year renovation as a tranquil North African oasis. Influenced by the cultural heritage of the desert, the redesign from Parisian architecture and design practice Studio MHNA pays homages to the setting’s distinctive decorative arts and sense of magic.
Nearly 700 candles line the path of the gated promenade toward the entrance of the lobby, which is appointed with a VIP lounge. Hallways are designed with a cupola embellished in contemporary chrome, and lead to onsite eateries like the colorful, all-day concept Nozha. The restaurant is designed with white glazed stucco and natural wood trimming like the property’s grand hall. The extravagantly designed Moroccan concept Dahbi, boasts a rose garden outfitted around a violet-tinted glass marabout. The Mediterranean restaurant Medi Terra is also home to a tearoom and the Manso bar, which displays collections of weaponry and historical items. The buffet-style Saray and the poolside Jamra are also included in the hotel’s F&B portfolio.
The clandestine O de Roses by Cinq Mondes spa is tucked away behind citrus trees and jasmine plants for a sense of isolation and tranquility. It is decorated in contrasting black and white and illuminated by shades of bronze, the hotel’s signature tone.
Inspired to reflect historic caravanserais, each room is adorned with a soft, muted palette punctuated with vibrant notes. Contemporary and traditional styles converge to create a calming ambiance. A 3,120-square-foot penthouse serves as the apex of the hotel.
