The third location of the Moxy Hotel in Austin has kicked off construction. Developed by White Lodging and slated to debut in late 2020, the new Moxy will will embrace an aesthetic inspired by the city of itself.
Located near the University of Texas, the 162-room property will feature polished concrete floors, open ceilings, and exposed concrete columns. Its lobby will serve as the nucleus of the space, while Bar Moxy will double as a physical check-in area, attached to an open-air patio that will be endowed with lounge seating, and fire pits. The 24-hour taco concept, Zombie Taco, will be the key F&B fixture.
Guestrooms will be crafted with amenities such as motion-sensor lighting, platform beds, and signature peg-walls for ultimate flexibility.
