Nayara Hotels, which currently operates two properties in Costa Rica’s Arenal Volcano National Park, is set to grow its portfolio with the opening of the Nayara Tented Camp. Working with Larkspur, California-based resort developer Luxury Frontiers, the 18 luxury tents are set to be completed by fall 2019.
Elevated on individual, furnished platforms, each tent will boast a master suite, an ensuite bathroom with outdoor showers, outdoor living areas, and a plunge pool. While 12 of the accommodations will mirror one another’s layout and feature the option to connect via passageway, the additional six tents will open as standalone units. The resort will also be home to a family pool and swim-up bar in addition to a new Asian restaurant concept attached to an expansive terrace. The second phase of development will yield a spa.
