Coral Gables, Florida-based architecture firm Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates (NBWW) has been tapped to design the hotel component of the Margaritaville Resort Orlando. The $750 million vacation destination will receive interiors from Miami studio the McBride Group and landscaping from SCI. NBWW’s design is expected to arrive in late 2018. The firm has spearheaded a slew of major Florida restoration projects including the Ritz-Carlton South Beach, the EDITION Miami Beach, and the Opal Sands Resort.
The 187-room hotel will feature 20 suites, 30,000 square feet of event space, a 3-acre pool, and numerous restaurants. The development will also be home to 1,000 residential units, vacation homes, luxury condominiums, and apartments. The resort will span 300 acres complete with a 12-acre water park, and 200,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment.
