The Sydell Group has announced the international expansion of the NoMad brand with a forthcoming outpost in London’s Covent Garden neighborhood. Slated to debut in summer 2020, the hotel will be housed within the Bow Street Magistrates Court and Police Station, a historic 19th century building. Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch of New York-based design firm Roman and Williams will collaborate on the transformation of the landmark into a 91-room urban retreat. The property will also feature an expansive F&B program led by chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara.
Developed in partnership with investment firm BTC UK, NoMad’s forthcoming London location will join the company’s existing portfolio of units in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
