Oil Nut Bay in Virgin Gorda, Virgin Islands has introduced several new developments including two new villas and a spa designed by Coral Gables, Florida-based architecture practice OBM International.
The three-bedroom luxury Cheemaun Beach Villa spans 3,250 square feet. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom, complete with indoor and outdoor showers and private patio. The other new accommodation, Poseidon’s Perch Villa, demonstrates the resort’s take on highrise living along with understated tropical motifs. Set atop the ridges of Virgin Gorda, the three-bedroom villa boasts an openness that maximizes ocean breezes and expansive views with high ceilings. The material palette includes natural granite and stone. The luxury concept is outfitted with abundant outdoor lounge space, including an infinity-edge pool as well as a palapa lounge area, Jacuzzi, and pool bar. The large-scale Montestraea Villa will join the resort this winter.
Designed to promote harmony with nature, the new spa is home to two treatment rooms clad with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of the Caribbean Sea. Along with a beauty room, there is a terrace crafted with a heated saltwater plunge pool and yoga platform.
