Kerzner International is set to unveil One&Only Moonlight Basin this November, marking the ultra-luxury brand’s first resort and collection of Private Homes in the U.S.
What to expect at One&Only Moonlight Basin
Tucked into the pine-laced peaks of Big Sky, Montana, the alpine retreat offers an elevated take on mountain living, steps from 5,800 skiable acres and a short drive to Yellowstone National Park.
A preview of the experience launched last December with the opening of One&Only Sky Lodge, a sleek après-ski destination that houses the Landing—its signature restaurant and bar—as well as retail offerings.
The full resort will feature six culinary concepts, including a forthcoming restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Akira Back, blending global flavors with local ingredients. Additional amenities will include a spa, fitness center, and year-round programming.
A design by Olson Kundig
Designed by acclaimed architecture firm Olson Kundig, the resort is composed of 73 guestrooms and suites in the main lodge, 19 freestanding villas, and a curated community of 62 One&Only Private Homes. The design is grounded in natural materials and panoramic vistas, with interiors featuring local art, warm textiles, and floor-to-ceiling windows that blur the line between inside and out.
The narrative extends to the Private Homes, which offer a contemporary expression of mountain life. With a limited number still available for purchase, the homes provide access to a network of services across One&Only’s global portfolio.
